The combination of inherently incompatible policies and party platforms is coming to an end. After victory in the EU Parliamentary elections the Northern League appears ready to lead the Center-Right coalition to victory in future elections, if they are held soon. M5S has lost much of its support and could be broken. If the Center-Right gains a majority then it will have this one chance to begin a real reform process.
